President's Message by Don RimaGreetings...Well, you folks know that I like to plan ahead as much as possible, so, go ahead now and mark down November 4 as the date for JAM-2005. It will be at the University of Maryland Conference Center again as it has been for several years now. Well, I trust that Santa was good to all you folks. I have enough coal to survive several harsh winters, but then, some things never change. We're off to a good start this year. We've got a great one day seminar with Carole Miner from Rochester bringing us the best and latest in web based development on the iSeries as well as iSeries Access for the web. We think this is a timely topic and presentation and hope that all of you avail yourselves of the seminar. We'll also have Carole for the evening meeting where she'll be going into how to enhance the 5250 GUI access with HATS/LE. Many of us wear many hats and now HATS has taken on a new flavor in the browser interface of our iSeries applications. Due to renovations being done at the Holiday Inn in College Park, we're having to move this meeting to what used to be the Holiday Inn in Laurel. It's now a Ramada and the address and phone number are below. I hope the year is off to a pleasant start for you and yours. See you at WAM on February 8th. Register early and bring a friend! February 8th MeetingEnhance your 5250 GUI with HATS LEPresented By IBM's Carole Miner from Rochester Services Limited Edition (HATS LE) is a member of the iSeries Access Family. By the end of this session, attendees will be able to: understand the capabilities of HATS LE, see how to use it in an iSeries network, and know what steps to take next in order to start using it.
