JAVA, JAVA, JAVA all we hear is JAVA and yet what do we really know about it? The obvious answer is that we don't know much about it so lets take a class. In this session Paul will tell what you need to know BEFORE you sign up for that class. This is based on Paul's experience both as an instructor of JAVA classes and as a student himself.

Next month is the Fall 2000 COMMON Conference (October

22nd - 26th) in Baltimore, Maryland. This e-business conference features focused education topics, some brand-new courses of study and a 40th Anniversary gala event hosted by IBM. (I hear they are pulling out all the stops for this party folks!)

Since this COMMON is in our backyard and falls the week following our regularly scheduled meeting we will not have a meeting. We heartily encourage you to attend the entire COMMON and look for notices inviting you to Local Users Group (LUG) events. Also KB Soni and Peter Maher will be at the LUG Booth near the entrance to The Solutions Showcase the entire time it is open. Stop by and say Hi!
